On this page you will find how to cook arrosticini and how to set up and start your brand new D'Abruzzo Grill.
Cooking your Arrosticini
Here we will go over a few different ways to cook Arrosticini. Our favorite and the the most traditional way is to cook it on a charcoal grill made specifically for arrosticini.
#1 - Traditional Grill
Using a traditional grill is one of the best ways to cook arrosticini. The flavor from the grill and the fat from the arrosticini is an amazing combo for perfect flavor.
After starting your grill and making sure it's nice and hot, place your arrosticini on the grill. Let cook for about 3 minutes. Sprinkle on your sea salt and then flip your skewers. Once flipped salt the other side and let cook another 3-4 minutes.
Take off the grill and enjoy.
#2 - Gas Grill - D'Abruzzo Grill Top
Using a gas grill gives you the abruzzese feeling of grilling of outside but without the charcoal grill.
After starting your grill and making sure it's nice and hot ( about 550- 600 degrees) you will be ready to start cooking. The easiest way to grill on the gas grill is to use our D'Abruzzo grill top.
From there you place the skewers on the grill top and let cook for about 3 minutes. Sprinkle on your sea salt and then flip your skewers. Once flipped salt the other side and let cook another 3-4 minutes. Take off grill and enjoy.
# 3 - Gas Grill - BBQ
After starting your grill and making sure it's nice and hot ( about 550- 600 degrees) you will be ready to start cooking.
We recommend putting some olive oil on your grates to prevent sticking. The easiest way to do this is put some olive oil on a paper towel and rub on the grates in the area you will be using.
Place your arrosticini on the grill toward the front of the grill. To ensure the sticks will not burn from the heat you can either place tinfoil around the sticks or have the sticks hanging on the front of the grill.
Pro tip: Prop the top open with a little rock so it doesn't break the skewers but still keeps the heat.
Let cook for about 3 minutes. Sprinkle on your sea salt and then flip your skewers. Once flipped salt the other side and let cook another 3-4 minutes.

# 4 - Electric Oven
No grill? No worries.
Preheat your oven on bake to 400 degrees.
Once heated place your arrosticini on a greased baking sheet. We recommend using a little bit of olive oil. Place the baking sheet in the oven and cook for 9-10 . Take out when the time is up and sprinkle sea salt.
Another quick and easy way to make our famous Arrosticini.
Enjoy!
